America On Track

America On Track’s MISSION is to inspire brighter futures by building youth leaders, supporting families, and strengthening communities through life-transforming programs.

Our VISION is to create more vibrant communities by addressing social inequities and health disparities through evidence-based programs that focus on leadership development, mentoring, academic achievement, fitness & nutrition, and drug use prevention.

Our MOTTO is: Creating Brighter Futures for Communities & Youth since 1995!

This is achieved by providing families with resources and a support system for their children that incorporates multi-faceted life-transforming programs. AOT specializes in helping vulnerable children and families in the most difficult situations. As a result of its experience with challenging populations, AOT has developed training techniques that focus on the hardest-to-reach people, ultimately sustaining, preserving and empowering them in the individual, family and community domains.

The goal of America On Track is to empower people to live more sustainable, responsible & rewarding lives.

Centennial Farm Foundation

The Mission of the Centennial Farm is to raise support for the programs of the Centennial Farm. The Centennial Farm has accepted the challenge of bringing agriculture education to the public, with a special emphasis on children, who will be tomorrow's decision makers and consumers. The Centennial Farm serves guests with a variety of programs. Most of the participants come from schools in Orange County however it is a unique facility that attracts visitors from surrounding counties. The Farm also welcomes guests on self-guided tours. Agriculture is a $23 billion industry in the State of California, making it the leading agricultural state in the United States. And yet most children are not aware of the importance of farming and how food gets to their plate. They also learn that agriculture employs 1 in 10 of all employees in California and could be a viable and stable option for employment. Additionally, in 2009, 26% of the students tested for the Fitnessgram in Orange County were considered to have unhealthy body weight. With childhood obesity at this rate, learning about food and healthy choices is more critical than ever. While the Orange County region has a reputation as an affluent community, many of the children are from low-income and at-risk families. According to the OC Community Indicators, only 53% of families in Orange County can afford to buy a home and to rent a 1-bedroom apartment a household earning minimum wage would need to work 131 hours per week. Therefore in most homes both parents are working, multiple jobs in many cases. The Centennial Farm offers an after school program as a safe, enriching option during the critical hours of 3pm to 6pm. In addition, many of our local schools have cut back or eliminated field trips. Because the Centennial Farm is unique, educational, and free with available scholarships for transportation, it is many classes only field trip of the year.

Kid Healthy

Kid Healthy works to build healthy communities, to improve health and wellness by engaging school children and families from the most vulnerable communities of Southern California through culturally appropriate programs that measurably increase nutrition and fitness levels.

Kid Healthy's programs:  Padres en Acción and Cooking up Change®, reach at-risk, vulnerable children and families. Our strategies engage parents and the community to provide health, nutrition and fitness education; and to provide increased physical activity opportunities with parent led active recess.  Parents learn to take the lead in the health and wellness of their homes, communities, and to role model positive behaviors daily.

Max's Love Project, Inc.

Helping SuperKids thrive against the odds with fierce foods, whole-body wellness strategies, and integrative medicine.

MaxLove Project is a nonprofit organization that empowers families fighting childhood cancers and related life-threatening conditions with quality of life care, whole-body wellness resources, education and research. We believe that true health starts when families are empowered to be active partners in their child’s healing.

Inspired by SuperMax Wilford, a brain cancer fighting superhero, MaxLove Project is a volunteer-powered, grassroots nonprofit organization founded to help SuperKids thrive against cancer and life-threatening conditions. Our mission is to provide families fighting childhood cancers and life-threatening conditions with accessible, practical, and kid-friendly whole-body wellness. Our ultimate goal is to support SuperKids in overcoming the odds—to thrive in treatment and beyond. We believe that all kids should have full access to every cancer-fighting tool available, including excellent nutrition and therapeutic resources such as acupuncture, physical activity, and healing narratives.

MaxLove Project equips families to thrive within the pediatric healthcare system of today—where the standard of care for most life-limiting illnesses does not include essential integrative therapies—as we work to change the system of tomorrow. We are a community of dedicated change makers who believe in the power of integrative health care for all children.
