Overview

Mission Statement

D.R.E.A.M.'s mission is to help any and every animal that needs assistance in finding a new, loving forever home.

Background Statement

Since it’s establishment in 2012, DREAM has rescued over 1000 animals and placed most into loving forever homes. Sadly many came to us injured or sick and we were not able to heal them and they are no longer with us. We also still have about 70 currently in our care.

Impact Statement

  1. DREAM Successfully rehomed over 150 animals in 2016.

  2. DREAM saved a kitty stabbed in both eyes and left for dead in a busy intersection in February 2016 and found he a loving home.

  3. DREAM added over 30 new volunteers and community organizations to their support team.

  4. Goals for 2017 include a city partnership with Lake Forest CA.

  5. DREAM Hopes to open a public adoption center in Lake Forest CA.

  6. DREAM will establish a commuity wide volunteer program to help with animals and education.

Needs Statement

  1. Funds for medical bills, food and housing costs.
  2. Food (dog and cat)
  3. Bedding, towels, blankets and toys.
  4. Cat litter & supplies.
  5. Volunteers.

CEO Statement

DREAM is a local all volunteer no-kill animal rescue. Every dollar raised goes to the care and maintenance of the animals, no salaries are taken. We want to help make our community safe for animals by educating the public and helping people get necessary vetting for their animals.

Board Chair Statement

DREAM has faced some major challenges recently. We had to close our adoption center at the end of June 2016. We started seeking other avenues to continue to increase the number of animals we are able to help. In 2017 we are proud to announce a partnership with the Pet Adoption Center of Orange County, the City of Lake Forest and Orange County Animal Care and Control to open a brand new adoption center in Lake Forest.
